Cristiano Ronaldo ‘Would Welcome’ Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola At Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants Juventus to replace Max Allegri with Pep Guardiola next season.

Earlier in the season, reports surfaced claiming Guardiola had agreed on a four-year deal at Juventus.

Italian journalist Luigi Guelpa claimed that he had been offered a deal by the Serie A outfit. He was the same reporter who broke the news that Ronaldo would leave Real Madrid for Juventus last summer.

“I’ve learned that Pep Guardiola already has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for the next four years,” he said.

“It’s the same person who told me that Ronaldo was going to Juventus.”

A managerial swap Ronaldo ‘would welcome’. Well, that’s according to Marca.

“Guardiola would be a welcome arrival for Ronaldo, while it could mean that we see the best of Dybala in a Juventus shirt,” the Spanish outlet reports.

The Portuguese superstar joined the Old Lady last year and he’s guided his side to another Scudetto title, though he’s failed to secure Champions League glory.

They snapped up Ronaldo’s services to a lucrative deal to help deliver the European crown.

But following another year without Champions League success, the club is now exploring the future of Max Allegri with their eyes firmly fixed on Guardiola, who has won two Champions League titles with Barcelona.

This season, Ajax dumped Juventus out of the Champions League to reach the semi-finals.

They haven’t won the Champions League since the 1995/96 season.

Manchester City, on the hand, were eliminated by Tottenham at the same stage as Juventus.
